shelf
box
instrument
must
move
up
the
hill
from
the
gulch
to
Rodney
Street.

we had snow last night
everything was soft and white
this morning
but then the wind and the sun came along

am reading wallace stegner
beyond the 100th meridian
fascinating study
and another set of essays by e s connell
white lantern

some book activity happening here
the library
a sort of desperate collection
is being attended to
with some seriousness
at least the phyusical part
the shelves and space and whatnot

i am thinking of proposing
focussing on a library
that boasts
the very best
hard cover editions
of the best philosphers
the best theologians
the best narrators
the best poets
the best historys
the best of the best

and simply have the vision
that well
it may not be too long now
and libraries
as we know them
will be a bit obsolete
so to have one where the
best of the best can be accessed
that would
it would seem to me
have some value
