just a thought....what would it mean to take the readers off the stage, away from the microphone. dare to set a stage where the voice has to truly be in the poem..no hiding behind eletronic volume. it may mean setting up a halfcircle. much like my folk music n your face project....live up to the word naked...poems not draped in easy garments of technoease. a dare.
also...like silliman does...a poem now and again posted here....i'm sure the voices in the nkd wrd wrld would not mind cyber publishing of their work....something beyond the photos...which i like a lot...helps me feel something of the spirit of my old home town...homey....like the scent of age after rain.
